East Austin

East Austin is the part of town I keep coming back to. You are close to the water and close to downtown, and the streets around Holly are full of bars, restaurants and more coffee shops than I can count. It feels eclectic in the best way, and the neighbors I have met here have been great. Many of the houses come with a backyard, and some still sit on a bit of land, which is hard to find this close in.

Getting around

South Congress is about a 45 to 60 minute walk if you like a long stroll, and Zilker is an easy scooter ride, which makes ACL weekend simple. Downtown and Lady Bird Lake are close enough that you will find yourself by the water more often than you expect.

Housing

You will see older bungalows, newer modern builds and small multi-unit homes on the same block. Lot sizes vary a lot, so if a yard or some land matters to you, tell me early and I will watch for it.
